CAIRO: Ahly star Mohamed Abou-Trika has been named to Egypt s African Cup of Nations winning squad for next month s friendly with England.

The 31-year-old has just returned to action, following a long-term foot injury, with a cameo appearance in Ahly s 2-2 league draw with Gaish on Tuesday.

Abou-Trika, along with Hull City striker Amr Zaki, is Hassan Shehata s only addition to the 23-man list called up for Angola 2010.

Once again, there was no place for West Ham forward Mido or Ahly veteran Mohamed Barakat, despite the latter s recovery from a hamstring injury.
