Man, son killed in a fight in Toukh
In Aghour Al-Kobra village a fight that broke out between Abou Sinna and Al-Banna families over a motorcycle, ended up with the murder of one man and his son. Investigations revealed that a member of Abou Sinna family went to the home of the second family to claim ownership of motorcycle.
When the Al-Banna family denied having any knowledge of the whereabouts of the disputed vehicle, the accused shot down Fathi Ibrahim Al-Banna and his son Ayman, while his second son, Sameh was shot in the chest and was taken to hospital in serious condition.
Security forces managed stop the Al-Bannas from retaliating and the police are still in search of the fugitives.
Vendor killed in Warraq over theft charge
The Imbaba General Hospital reported to the police that the body of 31-year-old tea seller Abdel Nabi Mohamed El-Sayed, was brought in with stab wounds.
Investigations showed that behind the crime was a jobless man called Ahmed Ibrahim, 35, who has a criminal record, and that a fight broke out between him and the victim when he learned that the victim had stolen and sold some of his tea utensils because he was desperately in need of money.
The accused went to the location of the victim on the ring road near the pyramids and after a quarrel, stabbed him to death.
Ibrahim confessed to the murder in front of the chief investigator at Warraq Police Station who ordered him referred to prosecution for interrogation.
Thief of LE 2 million worth of gold jewelry arrested
A secret source informed Major Ayman Salah, chief of investigations at Al-Darb Al-Ahmar police station a man from Imbaba frequently had been selling gold pieces of jewelry for a fraction of their real value.
Investigations showed that the suspect, 43, is a resident of Imbaba and had earlier been arrested and accused in 19 cases.
He was arrested and confessed to committing 15 robberies in Nasr City raking in some LE 2 million worth of gold chains, bracelets, earrings, bangles, watches pendants and rings. He also confessed to stealing LE 8,000 from one apartment, LE 220,000 from another and LE 620,000 from a third.
He was jailed for four days pending further investigation.
Four unemployed men massacre girl and burn her body in Manial Shiha farms
Detectives have found the corpse of a girl inside a hole in Manial Shiha farms.
The girl, 22, was collecting dates when she was slain at the neck with a sharp tool. Her body was burned in a hole.
Investigations led by Director of Criminal Investigation Brig. Gen. Mustafa Zeid uncovered that four unemployed men were behind the crime.
On the day of the incident, while smoking bango in Manial Shiha farms, the four men saw the girl working alone collecting dates. They tried to assault her sexually, but she managed to flee after insulting one of them, which outraged and prompted him to chase her. He took out a dagger and slit her throat.
LE 400,000 returned after being stolen by five men at gunpoint

The company employee rented a car, removed its plates and agreed with the thief on the plot.
The thief sought the help of four others who have all been arrested and all the money was found at Sayed s home.
