CAIRO: Mahdy Akef, supreme guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, said that he does not welcome “the supporters of murderers and Zionists in Egypt, referring to US President George W. Bush’s visit to the World Economic Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh.

In a statement he sent to Daily News Egypt, Akef said that Bush visited the Middle East last week to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the “violent crimes the Jews have committed against our fellow Palestinians, when they unfairly and savagely occupied their lands 60 years ago.

“And here he is coming to Egypt to be welcomed by our government officials to the country that has witnessed wars against Israel in the past years, Akef said.

“Bush-the-Zionist’s visit to Egypt today is unacceptable. He is known for his violent, bloody history against Arabs and Muslims .We want Bush to know that neither him nor his American government are welcome in Egypt because we know that wherever Bush goes, he causes destruction, he added.

He called on Arab and Muslim leaders to listen to their people and unite against the “murderers to prevent them from committing crimes against their people.
