Shell Lubricants Egypt has formed a partnership with TAQA Arabia subsidiary TAQA Petroleum to distribute its lubricants and coolants across the latter’s service stations in Egypt.
The agreement makes Shell’s product portfolio available to TAQA retail customers, including Shell Helix for passenger cars, Shell Advance for motorcycles, Shell Rimula for heavy-duty vehicles, Shell Spirax transmission fluids, and Shell coolants.
Haitham Yehia, Chairman and CEO of Shell Lubricants Egypt, said the company aims to bring its products closer to consumers across the country’s governorates.
“Drivers have different needs depending on their vehicles, how they use them and the conditions they operate in, and our role is to make sure they can easily find the right solution when they need it,” Yehia said. “Through this partnership with TAQA Petroleum, our full product range will soon be available across its network, making it more convenient for motorists across Egypt to access the right product for their needs.”
Eng. Mohamed Nafea, Managing Director of TAQA Petroleum, stated that the deal enables the firm to provide engine oils, coolants, and transmission fluids to private car and motorcycle owners as well as commercial and heavy-duty vehicle operators.
“We are pleased to collaborate with Shell Lubricants Egypt to offer our customers a comprehensive range of its products, enabling us to meet the needs of a diverse segment of motorists,” Nafea said.
The companies stated the collaboration forms part of a broader focus on strengthening the service-station experience for motorists in Egypt by combining convenient access with a wider choice of products designed to support vehicle performance and maintenance.
