Cazamond Developments has launched a new strategy to expand its presence in Egypt’s Delta region, with projects planned in New Damietta and New Mansoura.

The company said the strategy builds on more than 11 years of experience in the Delta, where it initially operated in engineering, architectural, and structural design before moving into real estate development and delivering residential projects, including boutique communities.

Cazamond noted that its new approach focuses on integrated residential developments that combine housing with services, recreational facilities, open spaces, and other amenities, rather than conventional residential projects.

Mohamed Tharwat, Director of Cazamond, said the company’s long experience in the Delta has provided it with a deeper understanding of local communities and their needs.

“For us, the Delta is not simply a market in which we operate, but the region where our journey began,” Tharwat said. “Our next phase is not only about launching new projects, but about developing projects that respond to the characteristics of each location and contribute to its growth.”

The company added that its expansion into New Damietta and New Mansoura reflects its assessment of the two cities’ potential for residential and investment growth.

Cazamond also aims to support economic activity in the areas where it operates by contributing to demand for services, retail, hospitality, and entertainment, as well as creating job opportunities and attracting additional investment.

The developer highlighted its track record during Egypt’s economic pressures in 2023, when construction costs rose significantly following the depreciation of the Egyptian pound. Cazamond said it maintained its contractual commitments and delivered units under agreed terms without imposing additional charges on customers.

The company added that its recent campaign highlighting Damietta, Ras El Bar, and their communities reflects its broader focus on the cities and communities surrounding its developments.

Cazamond plans to continue expanding its Delta portfolio with projects tailored to local market needs while pursuing longer-term residential and urban development opportunities in the region.
