Banque Misr has announced the appointment of Amr Mohamed Zaki El-Nokaly as Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Business Sectors.
El-Nokaly brings extensive banking experience, most recently serving as Chief Business Officer for Corporates, Financial Institutions and Governments at Bank ABC, where he led a range of strategic initiatives that contributed to the expansion and development of the bank’s business operations.
He has broad expertise in investment, corporate credit and syndicated loans, having overseen banking activities across more than 15 markets spanning five continents, achieving notable growth in business volumes. He has also led several digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing banking operations and improving customer experience.
El-Nokaly has served as Chairperson of two banks within the Bank ABC Group, including an Islamic bank, where he played a key role in strategic oversight, strengthening governance frameworks, and guiding both operational and commercial decision-making.
Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Citi and Mashreq Bank, where he gained extensive experience in structured finance and regional business development.
