Egypt sends commercial mission including 33 exporting companies to Saudi Arabia

An Egyptian commercial mission kicked off on Sunday in the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, organized by the Egyptian Exporters Association from 18 to 23 March.

Thirty-three Egyptian companies from various export sectors participated in the mission, which is headed by Ahmed Taha, Executive Director of the Egyptian Exporters Association. The Egyptian furniture sector also had a distinguished participation in the Kingdom’s trade mission for about 20 furniture manufacturers for various Egyptian furniture and decoration products, members of the Furniture Export Council.

The Egyptian delegation participated in the opening of the Egyptian-Saudi Forum for Hotel and Development Business and in the session of bilateral meetings in Riyadh.

In his speech, Ahmed Taha thanked and appreciated the Egyptian Commercial Service office in Saudi Arabia and the National Bank of Egypt for their efforts in organizing the Egyptian mission and overcoming obstacles facing Egyptian exports to Saudi Arabia.

Taha disclosed that the Egyptian delegation will resume its duties in holding many bilateral meetings and official meetings in the Saudi Chambers of Commerce at the level of businessmen, exporters, importers and government agencies in the two countries.
