Hundreds of demonstrators flooded to Tahrir square protesting the Israeli attack on Gaza that has claimed nearly 21 lives in the strip. Rockets have been exchanged between Hamas and Israel for the past two days with locally made Palestinian rockets reaching Tel Aviv. This comes after Israeli rockets targeted and killed top Hamas Commander Ahmed El-Jaabri and 13 others on Wednesday.
Egyptian Prime minster Hisham Qandil visited Gaza strip today in a show of solidarity assuring people of Gaza that post-revolution Egypt fully supports the Palestinian right to live.
