Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) has signed a contract with Raya Smart Buildings, a subsidiary of Raya Holding, to manage and operate an administrative building in the government district of Egypt’s New Capital.

The agreement covers Building C5, located along the central axis of the district, and forms part of ACUD’s broader strategy to enhance asset utilization and improve operational efficiency across its real estate portfolio.

The contract was signed by Khaled Abbas, Chairperson and Managing Director of ACUD, and Ahmed Ibrahim, CEO of Raya Smart Buildings.

Under the agreement, Raya will serve as the exclusive operator and asset manager of the building, overseeing leasing of administrative units as well as the provision of related services and facilities. The company will receive a share of revenues generated, while the remainder will go to ACUD under a revenue-sharing model designed to balance operational efficiency with investment returns.

ACUD said the partnership reflects its approach to adopting advanced asset management models through collaboration with private-sector operators, particularly those with specialized expertise in building management and smart infrastructure.

Khaled Abbas stated that the agreement aligns with the company’s strategy to maximize asset value through partnerships with experienced entities and the application of professional management frameworks aimed at achieving sustainable returns and efficient operations.

For his part, Ahmed Ibrahim said the partnership underscores confidence in Raya’s capabilities in managing and operating large-scale assets. Raya Smart Buildings provides integrated solutions for real estate asset management, combining operational expertise with smart building technologies. The company also maintains a regional presence, including operations in Saudi Arabia, as part of Raya Holding’s expansion strategy in Gulf markets.

As part of its ongoing growth plans, the Edge workspace brand is preparing to launch two additional branches in Giza and Downtown Cairo, expanding its footprint in key business locations.
