The Holding Company for Roads, Bridges, and Land Transportation Projects announced the successful completion of infrastructure projects valued at EGP 11.5bn during the past fiscal year. The projects spanned railway upgrades, high-speed rail systems, Nile corridor developments, and port infrastructure.

This milestone underscores the company’s pivotal role in executing Egypt’s national transportation and infrastructure strategy, aligning with the government’s broader development agenda.

The announcement came during the company’s General Assembly meeting, chaired by Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport. During the meeting, Al-Wazir reaffirmed the government’s continued support for the Holding Company as the primary execution arm for infrastructure initiatives, with a growing emphasis on sustainability, quality standards, and regional expansion.

In addition to its engineering achievements, the Holding Company also marked a notable accomplishment in the sports sector. On September 14, 2025, the Nile General Company for Roads and Bridges won the national corporate championship held in Ismailia, defeating the Nile General Construction and Roads Company, which secured second place. This success reflects the subsidiaries’ commitment to excellence beyond construction, fostering a well-rounded corporate culture.

Egypt continues to invest heavily in modernizing its transport network to support rapid urbanization and economic growth. Key projects—such as the 6th October Bridge, Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, and North–South transport corridors—aim to improve connectivity, reduce congestion, and enhance trade and tourism. These initiatives serve strategic areas, including New Cairo, the New Administrative Capital, and the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

The projects are being delivered through a mix of public-sector leadership and private-sector collaboration, with a focus on modern engineering standards, smart traffic systems, and sustainable construction practices to ensure long-term resilience and integration across Egypt’s infrastructure landscape.
