Housing Ministry allocates 250-feddan land plot to Madaar to build Azha North project

Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar issued has allocated a 250-feddan plot of land to Madaar to establish its newest project, Azha North, in Ras Al-Hikmah bay in North Coast.

The project comprises various residential, hotel, and commercial units, in addition to hotels and serviced apartments.

Ahmed Ehab, CEO of Madaar, said that the company has taken necessary measures to comply with regulations and laws set by the state and put in place an appropriate action plan and time schedule that complies with the issuance of legal decrees and permits by government.

Ehab pointed out that Azha North will include modern gym facilities and the Azha Sports Club which comprises various sports courts and playgrounds.

The project also utilizes the latest solar energy production methods to provide the required energy capacity within the project, includes a desalination plant, a sewage treatment plant and employs smart irrigation techniques to achieve sustainability in providing full comfort and services, making it a fully integrated touristic and recreational destination that adheres to environmental preservation standards.

Dalila El Shaer, Head of the Development at Madaar, said that Azha North is located at kilometre 212 on the Alexandria-Matrouh road, about 73 kilometers away from Matrouh. The project has beaches that stretch for 12 kilometres, including 700 metres seashore, and the rest are lagoons with an area of 45 feddan.
