The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA), under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, will organise the “Our Heritage” exhibition for handicrafts and heritage, from 9 to 15 October, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in the Fifth Settlement, Cairo.

Nevine Gamea, Executive Director of MSMEDA, said that the president’s sponsorship of the exhibition for the fourth year in a row sends a direct message that reflects his interest in the MSMEs sector, and his keenness to combine the efforts of the concerned authorities in the country to provide various aspects of financial support, technical and marketing services for these projects.

She added that the state’s keenness to hold the “Our Heritage” exhibition annually aims to support the crafts and heritage products sector, promote our ancient artistic heritage and consolidate everything that expresses the Egyptian identity, as well as encouraging all workers in craft, heritage and artistic projects, which is reflected in the development and dissemination of their products more locally and globally.

Gamea stressed that the exhibition is a great forum for creators, craftsmen and artists from various Arab countries, where they are keen every year to participate in pavilions that illustrate their artistic and cultural heritage, and this year will witness a distinguished participation from many brotherly Arab countries.

Gamea said that more than a thousand exhibitors from all governorates are scheduled to participate in the activities of the exhibition to display handicraft and artistic products.
