China, India, and Russia participate in opening day of Dandy’s International Month for cultural exchange

With a high turnout of artists, intellectuals, families, and official representatives, Dandy’s International Month for cultural exchange kicked off on Friday with the participation of several countries, including China, India, Turkey, Russia, and Sri Lanka.

The event, which lasts for a month, aims to strengthen ties between different cultures and countries of the world, believing in the role of art and culture in rapprochement between peoples.

The inauguration witnessed different dance performances and parades for the participating countries. The guest countries also participated in exhibitions of textiles and food.

The event will also include the International Peace Exhibition that will witness the participation of more than 200 paintings by children from around the world, including Egypt, China, India, Turkey, Russia, Serbia, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. The exhibition was held in cooperation with the Sporting Club in Alexandria and the Little Artist Studio Foundation.

During the event, the Japanese TanQ Arab Academy will launch an educational and entertaining programme.

Moreover, educational expert Hussein El Zanaty will hold an open dialogue with children aged 6-14.
