The fourth edition of the World Youth Forum opened the door for registration for youth from inside and outside Egypt on Monday via the forum’s website, according to forum spokesperson Sarah Badr.

This came during a press conference held by the National Training Academy, on Monday, to announce the forum’s launch on 10-13 January 2022 under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

Badr said in a press statement that the forum organizers have prepared a tight plan to ensure the safety of all participants, and those wishing to participate in the forum’s activities should be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The forum administration indicated that registration is available to all young people of all nationalities between the ages of 18 and 30 to attend the forum’s activities, and influential young people in their local communities and fields of specialization are encouraged to register as speakers.

Since the launch of the forum in 2017, the World Youth Forum became an annual event as recommended in 2017. The forum was cancelled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The third edition was held in Sharm El-Sheikh from 14 to 17 December 2019, with the participation of more than 7,000 young people from 197 countries.

It first started in 2017 with more than 3,200 attendees from 113 countries, and the number of participants reached 5,000 participants in 2018 aged between 18 and 40 years from 169 countries. The main themes of the forum are peace, development, and creativity.
