4th, 5th generation warfare not fought with arms, but awareness: Al-Sisi

Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi stressed on Monday the importance of awareness at all levels, explaining that the fourth and fifth-generation warfare, are not fought with arms but awareness.

Al-Sisi remarks came during the graduation ceremony of a new batch of cadets of Egypt’s military academies and institutes. 

The President said that “during these times, we remember the martyrs and the injured who gave a lot to Egypt, and this is normal because the task assigned to the police and the Armed forces is to protect the country and protect the people.”

Al-Sisi congratulated the students and their families of the military colleges and Institutes on their graduation, after all the effort they made during studying in military colleges.

The president directed his speech to the graduates saying “You are in a new stage, you have become responsible for yourself and men who work with you, which is a very big responsibility.”

He asserted that the new graduates are responsible for preparing, equipping and educating others.

Al-Sisi had also awarded the distinguished graduates the Order of Military Duty of the second class, in appreciation of their excellence and dedication in performing their duties during studying at military colleges.

Moreover, the Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, Major General Ashraf Salem Zaher, said that the responsibility for the graduates is not an easy task, especially with the nation looking forward to its sons to secure the homeland.

He asserted that the military academy has opened its doors for college graduates to keep pace with science, and those students have been prepared for atypical wars along with well-established military sciences.

 Zaher has also congratulated the families of the graduates, pledging to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces to continue the message of qualifying and training the nation’s protectors.
