The Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) – Egypt has appointed Inès Kadri as Head of its Communications, Sustainability and Customer Satisfaction Department.

Kadri has over 20 years of banking experience, during which she has held several positions. The most recent of these was the Head of Communication and Sustainability at Crédit Agricole – Egypt. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Crédit Agricole Egypt Foundation for Development.

During her tenure with the bank since its establishment in 2006, and through her responsibilities for internal and external communications and public relations, Kadri was able to establish the identity and culture of Crédit Agricole Egypt.

This came under the vision, standards and directions of the global group to which the bank belongs. She has also been able to instil and reinforce the bank’s prestigious image.

In 2020, Kadri issued the first sustainability report in Egypt, using the integrated reporting system, which is compatible with the principles of the GRI. This served as a model launched by Crédit Agricole Egypt, to enhance disclosure and transparency per the highest international standards.

She had previously worked as a French-language broadcaster on Egyptian radio and has presented many cultural programmes, hosting a selection of senior artists, ministers, and ambassadors for 20 years.

Kadri has also worked as an interpreter of French at a large number of cultural and economic conferences.

Furthermore, she obtained the “Certified Board Member” certificate from the Egyptian Institute of Directors (EioD), an affiliate of the Financial Regulatory Authority, the first programme of its kind in Egypt and the Arab region.

The programme was prepared in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank.
