Real estate companies target EGP 7bn in sales during exhibition, says Ahmed Waked

Some 48 real estate development companies will be taking part in the upcoming National Expo 2021, which will take place for the first time in Egypt at Cairo’s Al-Qubba Palace.

The event’s fourth edition is set to take place from 9-11 July, and will see the real estate development companies present exclusive offers. It will be the most important real estate event focusing on national projects developed by the state.

Moataz Askar, CEO of the National Exhibition Company said, “The National Expo will be the most important and largest in the Egyptian real estate market in terms of the rate of sales by real estate development companies, in relation to other real estate exhibitions of great importance.”

Askar said that the promotion of the exhibition is being prepared through the largest advertising campaign in the real estate market. This is with the aim of ensuring there is adequate representation of the national real estate exhibition industry.

It will also facilitate real estate companies participating in reaching customers and achieving targeted sales.

He added that real estate companies will present 120 different real estate projects during the exhibition. The projects vary between residential, administrative, commercial, service, and entertainment.

The companies will offer varied payment plans, facilities, and exclusive discounts during the exhibition, in addition to a diversity in real estate products offered in line with the requirements of customers.

Real estate companies participating in National Expo 2021 include: Borouq; Radix; Menasset Developments; MBG Developments; Better Home Group; Taj Misr; and Aqar Real Estate Development.

Ahmed Waked, Executive Director of the National Expo Company, said that the exhibition aims to achieve contractual sales worth EGP 7bn.

This will benefit real estate development companies participating at the exhibition, especially as developers will present exclusive offers during the exhibition.

Waked said that all preparations and equipment for exhibition visitors have been completed, including providing transportation and parking areas for visitors coming by cars.

He said that the exhibition expects to receive 15,000 visitors during the three-day period, particularly as it is the most important real estate exhibition that promotes national projects developed by the state in cooperation with the private sector.

Additionally, there is an interest among customers to know more about all types of real estate projects in one place.

For his part, Ismail El-Sherbiny, Head of the Commercial Sector at the National Expo Company, said that the exhibition will be the official gate for exporting Egyptian real estate abroad.

This will take place through a series of real estate exhibitions that the company plans to launch in the coming period in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The exhibitions will aim to promote national projects developed by the state and private sector projects represented by real estate development companies.

El-Sherbiny added that the fourth edition of the National Expo event aims to achieve the sales targets of the participating real estate companies during the third quarter (Q3) of 2021.

This is in addition to providing many opportunities for those wishing to live and invest in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) and other new cities.
