Egypt, Croatia Foreign Ministers discuss bilateral relations over phone

Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry received a phone call from his Croatian counterpart Jordan Grealish Radman, on Tuesday, during which they discussed ways to advance bilateral relations between Egypt and Croatia.

During the conversation, the two ministers also discussed a number of issues and files of mutual interest.

Ahmed Hafez, Spokesperson for Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the two ministers praised the good relations between Egypt and Croatia. They also expressed the importance of continuing to work on developing relations in the various areas of bilateral cooperation.

The ministers called for continued joint coordination at international forums to achieve the interests and visions of the two countries.

Hafez added that Shoukry indicated Egypt’s interest in strengthening the economic and trade relations between the two countries, in addition to the importance of increasing the volume of intra-trade.

He also stressed the Croatian side’s call for increasing investments in Egypt, particularly in light of the developing investment climate and economic reforms implemented by the Egyptian Government.
