Cairo Opera House to launch 5th International Arab Artists Forum

Magdy Saber, Head of the Cairo Opera House, will inaugurate the fifth edition of the International Arab Artists on 24 September, at the Ziad Bakir Hall of the Opera House’s Musical Library.

The forum, which will run until 30 September, will be held under the auspices of the International Arab Artists Forum’s founder, Fatima Naim, in cooperation with the Iraqi Embassy in Egypt and the Cairo Art Atelier.

  

The forum’s organisers announced that the opening ceremony will be well attended by many leading members of the art and media scene in Egypt and the Arab world.

The guests of honour at the inauguration ceremony include Military Advisor to the Arab League, Mahmoud Khalifa, and Head of Cairo Art Atelier Ahmed El-Ganayni.

Last year’s edition of the International Arab Artists Forum was attended by 150 Artists from more than 15 countries. The forum has allocated 30% of its sales to Egypt’s National Cancer Institute.

The 2019 forum hosted several events and competitions in different fields, including plastic arts, painting, sculpture, photography, and other handicrafts. Other events as part of the forum saw focus placed on poetry, literature, Arabic calligraphy, theatre performances and fashion design.
