The Cleopatra Hospitals Group (CHG) has partnered with Elbalto, Egypt’s first telemedicine mobile application, to offer patients consultations and follow-ups via video calls.

The feature gives patients direct access to CHG’s top class physicians, while promoting social distancing and limiting the risks of exposure for the group’s patients and staff.

The group has expanded its services further to better serve its patients. To do this, the group has launched several new services, including home consultations where patients can access the group’s current specialisations and the full suite of diagnostic and consultation services.

Should home visits be required, the group’s highly qualified team of healthcare professionals are equipped with all the necessary PPE, and have received the necessary additional training.

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, the CHG reported solid financial results, with revenues in excess of EGP 500m, and increase of 22% y-o-y. This was supported by strong top line growth in the range of 25%-30%, in line with previous guidance.

Growth was largely driven by the group’s more established hospitals, and further supported by a strong ramping up of services available in recently added facilities.
