Tourism Minister to meet CBE`s governor today to discuss ways of supporting tourism investors

The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled Al-Anani announced that he is going to hold a meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) today to discuss a number of issues, topped by the means of supporting investors. 

His remarks came during his meeting with Red Sea investors on Saturday. During the meeting, the minister listened to the problems that the investors face and their suggestions, aiming to provide them with the appropriate facilities and remove any obstacles.

On top of these issues were the procedures to terminate papers and licences, calling for the necessity of activating the one-stop service.

Moreover, Red sea investors also advocated for activating a number of decisions that contribute to servicing the sector, as well as coordinating with the CBE to facilitate procedures for obtaining financial loans.

Al-Anani explained that the Egyptian state, represented by the political leadership, is giving great directives to return tourism to what it use toe be in every tourist  destination in Egypt.

“Marsa Alam will play a major role in tourism soon, such as Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh,” he stated.

Anani added that Marsa Alam will have a major role for tourism soon, almost as Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh.

The Minister stated that he met the Minister of Civil Aviation, discussing  increasing the number of flights to tourist cities during major events such as Hurghada, Aswan, Luxor, and Sharm El-Sheikh, pointing out that the Minister of Aviation is ready to provide all support to increase the movement of tourism.
