Djokovic maintains top spot in professional tennis players’ ranking

Serbia’s Novak Djokovic has maintained the top position among professional tennis players, while Rafael Nadal ranked second after Djokovic won the Australian Open tennis championship on Sunday, after Djokovic managed to beat Nadal in the three halves.

Djokovic topped the ranking with 10,955 points, followed by Nadal with 8,320 points, then the German Alexander Zverev in the third position with 6,475 points. The Argentinian Juan Martín del Potro ranked fourth with 5,060 points, while the South African Kevin Anderson ranked fifth with 4,845 points.

The Swiss Roger Federer came in sixth position with 4,600 points, followed by Japan’s Ken Nishikori in seventh place with 4,110 points, then Dominique Tim in the eighth position with 3,960 points. While the American John Esner ranked ninth with 3,155 points, and finally the Croatian Marin Celic ranked 10th with 3,140 points.
