Negotiations to establish Gulf Medical University in Egypt with EGP 5bn investments

Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr, stated in a press release that Thumbay Moideen founder and president of Thumbay Group, expressed his desire to establish the Gulf Medical University in Egypt, with investments worth AED 1bn, equivalent to EGP 5bn.

During his meeting with Nasr, Moideen explained that the aim of establishing the Gulf Medical University in Egypt is providing training for youth, in addition to creating an integrated medical city in Egypt.

He said that the Gulf Medical University is characterised by its use of the latest technologies in the education and training of students in all medical disciplines, to ensure their readiness to enter the medical career with the skills needed in the market, when they graduate.

Finally, Moideen praised the legislative reforms that took place in Egypt, asserting that Egypt’s business climate is suitable environment for investors, to pump more investments.
