Egyptian, Indonesian companies sign contracts worth $67.8m

 Banten- Egyptian companies signed six contracts with their Indonesian counterparts worth $67.8m during Indonesia’s 33rd International Trade Expo, which was launched on Wednesday and will last for five days.

The list of contracts include Baraka Construction and Trading Co, which has signed a deal to import tires with PT Gajah Tunggal worth $20m.

The second contract is worth $30m, between Haggag For Imports and Exports with PT Asal Jaya to import coffee beans, while the third contract is between Stella and PT. Orson Indonesia, worth $2m to import soups and noodles. Stella also signed a $5m deal with PTPN to import Ethanol glycerine.

The fifth contract is between Awlad Abdel Sanad and PT Agromina and is worth $2.5m to import nutmeg and coffee beans while the sixth contract which is worth $8m is between Al-hamd For Import & Export and PT. Global Coconut, PT. Global Vision for spices, and  Van aroma for essences oils.

As for Indonesia’s Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita, he expected the anticipated increase in the signed contracts with Egyptian companies as the exhibition continues for five days.
