Dozens of Sufi followers organised a march from Al-Gafary Mosque to Al-Hussein Mosque celebrating the new Hijri year. The march began after Al-Asr prayers with a large number of sheikhs from Al-Azhar in attendance. Sufis aim to find the truth of divine love and knowledge through a direct personal experience with God that involves chanting various hymns and lifting huge banners to distinguish their different orders. A large number of children participated in the march with their parents.
