The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has announced launching a tender for the supply and installation of 315 electronic remote street lighting, monitoring, and control devices for several new cities. The authority set 5 October as a deadline to open technical and financial specification envelopes presented by competing companies.

The New Nubaria City is offering a public tender among companies registered at the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors to establish a basic education school with 33 classrooms, as well as a kindergarten building and a market. The city council set the tender to be conducted through two envelopes—one for technical specifications and another for financials. The sessions for opening both envelopes are set to take place on 9-11 October separately for each project.

The New Nubaria City was established under decision of the prime minister in 1986. It is situated on an area of 1,767 feddans on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, about 80 km away from Alexandria.

New Minya is also preparing to launch a tender for implementing road constructions to link the army road with the residential area, as well as expanding the Minya-Assiut road between the army road and Al-Safa checkpoint. Another tender will include implementing facilities constructions, sewage, roads, and electricity in the craft area in the city’s seventh district. This tender will also be held among companies listed with the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors.
