The conference will be held under the auspices of governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Tarek Amer; the discussion will focus primarily on the latest developments of risk management in banks.

The conference will also address the benefits and constraints of applying Basel III, a comprehensive set of reform measures designed to improve the regulation, supervision and risk management within the banking sector, and the concept of enterprise risk management, to give an overview on all banking compliance and commitment rules passed by the central banks.

This conference sheds light on the importance of investing in human resources, to create banking frameworks capable of coping with the rapid developments in that field.

A number of banking experts in the field of risk management, heads of public and private banks, CBE, Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ), and Deutsche Bank representatives are participating in the conference, as well as international experts in the field of risk management.
