The Union National Bank-Egypt (UNB) was selected as one of the 100 best institutions in the Egyptian market, according to an evaluation issued by Amwal Al-Ghad magazine in cooperation with Mubasher Company. The evaluation monitored the companies’ performance during the past three years.
Managing Director of UNB Atef El-Deeb was handed the honour shield in attendance of Minister of Industry and Trade Tarek Qabil, Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman, and Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali.
The classification aims to establish a powerful data base for the Egyptian state, by which it can boost its sustainable partnership with the private sector. The targeted data base also seeks to achieve development in the human, economic, and social spheres as well as upgrading the global classification of local companies and boosting their capabilities.
This classification also represents an accurate reflection of the economic activity witnessed in Egypt during 2015. It also reflects the size of the contributions made by UNB-Egypt to support its operations in the Egyptian market and the strategies adopted to reach best results.
