Banque Du Caire announced Thursday the introduction of a youth electronic shopping card, called Easy Card.

Mounir El-Zahid, chairman and CEO of Banque du Caire, said this card is one of the bank’s many products that aim to promote financial inclusion and community development.

He explained that the card was designed to meet the youth’s requirements, to attract them to join the banking system.

El-Zahid added that the prepaid card can be used to buy products at shops inside Egypt and abroad, to minimise the risks of carrying cash. Parents can recharge the card with a maximum of EGP 5,000.

Deposits onto the card can be made through ATMs and at the bank’s branches nationwide, or through transfer from different accounts using debit cards.
