For the second consecutive year, the Digital Media Forum launched in Cairo, gathering more than 500 regional and international digital media experts.

Managing Director of SpotOn Media Services and the founder of the forum, Najla Seeman, said during the opening speech that the forum this year honours media individuals who had an impact on the media scene.

Speakers at the forum said studies confirm that development will lead to accelerated growth over the next two years.

“The selection of Cairo for the second time to host the forum stems from Egypt’s key role in the digital market and its leadership in making a difference in this area,” Seeman said, noting that this confirms the promising future of digital technology in Egypt.

The Digital Media Forum (DMF) is an annual and regional event that enables professionals and decision makers in the digital media industry to meet to discuss challenges and opportunities in the sector.

DMF first kicked off in Dubai in 2012 and has established itself as a key event in the sector since.
