Private security companies are looking to begin the implementation of a Suez Canal Axis development plan and the entry of many banks and companies into the region, until their activity securing these institutions flourishes.

Sherif Khaled, Chairman and Managing Director of Falcon Group, expects security services to flourish in the Suez Canal region, with many banks and companies entering the region, requiring security services. This is especially with the expected business volume in the area during the upcoming period.

He added that the community that will be established in the area will increase demand on private security, and eventually increasing investments in the field.

It is expected that the Suez Canal region will become like Hong Kong and Singapore in terms of logistics services, Khaled said.

Falcon Group works in the private security field and secures a number of banks and financial institutions. Khaled  added that the group contributed to the inauguration of the New Suez Canal, using the latest explosive detectors and remote detection, which the company provided without charge.

Khaled praised the role of the armed forces and the Ministry of Interior in securing the canal during the period of its establishment and inauguration, as well as afterwards.
