CAIRO: Egypt’s cigarette monopoly Eastern Company said on Tuesday its July-December net income fell 37.4 percent year-on-year to LE 253.5 million ($43 million).
The firm posted net income of LE 405.1 million in the same period a year earlier, the stock exchange said without providing further details.
July to December is the first half of the firm’s financial year.
