CAIRO: Harras Hodoud and Egypt striker Ahmed Mekki urges his club to allow him to talk with Stuttgart over a transfer in the winter break.

"I will talk to the board about an offer from Stuttgart," the 24-year-old FilGoal.com.

"I hope they let me go. A move like this will give Hodoud huge financial benefits. It is also useful for me and for the national team.

Mekki only made his second appearance for Egypt in Sunday’s CAN 2012 qualifier with Sierra Leone as he started alongside Ahmed Ali upfront.

But the well-built forward was replaced by Walid Soliman in the second half as Egypt slumped to a disappointing draw with their visitors.
