CAIRO: Egypt s U-20 team have been drawn in the African Cup of Nations Group B alongside Nigeria, Ivory Coast and South Africa.
The continental competition is to be held in Rwanda, where the draw took place on Friday, from Jan. 18 to Feb. 1, 2009.
The young Pharaohs are facing Nigeria in their first game on Jan. 19, then taking on Ivory Coast and South Africa respectively on 22 and 25 of the same month.
Egypt have qualified for the 16th African Cup of Nations after defeating Zambia 4-3 on aggregate in the second qualifying stage.
The young Egyptians claimed the title in 2003 and finished runners-up in 2005 after losing to Nigeria in the final match.
