CAIRO: Harras Hodoud won their third successive match in the Egyptian League after claiming an easy 3-0 home victory over ENPPI on Saturday.

Talented midfielder Abdul-Salam Nagah opened the scoring two minutes before the break.

He tapped into an empty net after being fed by Abdul-Hamid Bassiouni s low cross that eluded the keeper.

Egypt midfielder Ahmed Eid doubled the lead in the 73rd minute when he rose above Mozambique defender Manu to head home a right-wing cross.

Striker Ahmed Abdul-Ghani wrapped up the victory seven minutes from time with a close-range header to score his second goal of the season.

Hodoud produced fine results in the domestic competition since exiting the CAF Confederation Cup.

They are eighth in the league table with 13 points but have a chance to break into the top four if they win their three rescheduled games.

One-time Egyptian Cup winners ENPPI, who do not have any games in hand, remain second on 17 points.
