CAIRO: Petrojet midfielder Hussein Ali is set to move to either Ahly or Zamalek after the Suez-based side agreed to sell him this summer.

The 26-year-old, whose contract rus to 2009, rejected a new deal with Petrojet as he wants to join a bigger club.

Ahly and Zamalek are believed to be in a race to sign the central midfielder, whose exit from Petrojet became imminent.

We tried to convince him to stay, but he insists on moving to a bigger club, assistant coach Hani Al-Okabi told FilGoal.com.

We are willing to sell him this summer to either Ahly or Zamalek, rather than leave him for free next season.

Ali, who has been a regular for Mokhtar Mokhtar s side throughout the past couple of seasons, graduated from Ahly Youth Academy in 2002.
