CAIRO: Zamalek coach Henri Michel has excluded midfielder Moetazbellah Mohamed ‘Eno’ from his side s squad for the Arab Champions League (ACL) game against Kuwait s Qadsia on Thursday.

Although Eno took part in Zamalek s 1-0 victory over Vital O of Burundi in the African Champions League, Michel opted to leave him out of Qadsia match.

Zamalek have reportedly fielded Eno in the African game to make him ineligible for Champions League participation in case he leaves the club.

The 23-year-old s contract expires at the end of the season and rumors suggest that Eno has already signed for Zamalek s arch-rivals Ahli.

Forward Gamal Hamza was not included due to injury while striker Mostafa Gaafar was named in the 19-man squad after recovering from muscle strain.

Tunisian duo Wissem El-Abdi and Yamen ben Zekri, who were sentenced to six months in jail due to a fight with a policeman, were also included.

Zamalek are fourth in Group A with four points, two adrift of leaders Ahli Jeddah.
