CAIRO: El Gouna,commonly referred to as the Red Sea’s premier leisure destination,is home to the new Abu Tig marina, one of the premier marina locations in Egypt. Located in the Northern Red Sea of Egypt, 200 NM south of Suez,the marina is designed by Italian architect Alfredo Freda.
Facilities include a number of hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, the marina basin, ship chandler and maintenance facilities. It covers more than 140,000 square meters and is the first yacht harbour of its kind on the Red Sea.
El Gouna is located 22 kilometers from Hurghada, and is an all-encompassing resort consisting of a myriad of islands joined together with a series of lagoons to form the shape of a star.
