Saudi officials meet with Saudi, Egyptian businessmen

The forum seeks to promote businesses in Saudi and Egypt

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Agriculture Abdulrahman bin Abdulmuhsen Al Fadhly, Governor of Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority’s (SAGIA) Abdullatif Al-Othman are set to meet with Egyptian and Saudi businessmen on Friday.

Egyptian and Saudi officials have also organised the Saudi-Egypt Business Opportunities Forum on Saturday.

Saudi minister of commerce and industry Tawfiq Al-Rabiah and his Egyptian counterpart Tarek Qabil will attend the conference, which aims at exploring the business opportunities for investment in Egypt and Saudi.  The forum will discuss investments in the agricultural, industrial and commercial sector as well as the energy sectors.

Egyptian minister of investment Dalia Khorshid will also attend the high-level forum. The forum will also discuss the means to attract investors from home and abroad to achieve sustainable investments in various fields.

The Saudi Export Development Authority (SEDA) is also organising an exhibition to market Saudi products. The exhibition will promote local Saudi products and aims to achieve the most comprehensive openness between the Arabian and international markets.
