The Administrative Judiciary Court refused all appeals, a total of 56, against the results of the second phase of the parliamentary elections in the governorate of Cairo.

The second stage of the elections included 13 governorates; Suez, Kafr al-Sheikh, Port Said, Ismailia, Daqahleya, Menufiya, Al-Qalyubia, Damietta, Western, and Eastern, and North Sinai and South Sinai.

The Supreme Electoral Committee (SEC) previously declared that the coalition “For the Love of Egypt” won the lists’ seat in the second stage in addition to nine individual candidates who directly won seats.

The candidates will compete in the runoffs of the second phase of the parliamentary elections on 1 and 2 December.
