Solidere International LTD, a Lebanon-based company, has started work on two development projects in Cairo: one in Sheikh Zayed covering 1.2 million square meters, and the second in Katamya covering 850,000 square meters, according to a statement released to the press. Both projects will create mixed-use complexes of residential, office, leisure, hotel and serviced apartment buildings.

The company also announced the establishment of Solidere International LTD in Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) with a share capital of $700.05 million. The company’s plans to take on real estate development projects all over the world, with a special focus on the Middle East region, the Mediterranean countries and North Africa.

In partnership with the Government of Ajman, UAE the company began work on a large development project just 25 minutes away from Dubai International Airport. It is also preparing for urban projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the southern part of Turkey.
