The Cairo Criminal Court resumed Sunday the trial of former president Mohamed Morsi and 10 other defendants, accused of espionage with Qatar.

The session was held to resume the unsealing of exhibits in the case in the session, as Morsi and his fellow stand accused on several counts.

These include spying and leaking confidential general and military intelligence documents to Qatari intelligence and Qatari satellite news channel Al Jazeera.

Morsi received his first prison sentence in the Presidential Palace Clashes case, where he was handed 20 years for inciting and demonstrating violence.

He also received both a death sentence and a life sentence in both the Hamas espionage trial and the Prison Break trial.
