In a special interview with Daily News Egypt, Karoliina Kuosmanen, the production manager of Cirko, one of the largest centres for contemporary circus in Finland, revealed the secret recipe behind the success of the Finnish circus industry.
This year, the festival brought a new idea that brings out arts’ social responsibility.
CirCairo 2012 opened with dazzling performances in front of the Abdeen Palace last Thursday.
“The crowd here is very friendly and very nice. They are a great audience, they cheer you on and interact with you. We get a lot more encouragement from the people here than we do back home in Belgium,” said Wout, one of the performers.
The shows will include both traditional and modern forms of circus entertainment, and feature acrobatics, fire shows, magic and comedy shows.
The circus is in town, people, and it is not leaving anytime soon. Sit back and enjoy the show.
