Illume Societies has announced the launch of its new residential development, Illume Residence, in the Sixth Settlement area of New Cairo, with planned investments estimated at EGP 4.5bn.

The project was unveiled during a press conference attended by company executives, consultants, operating partners, and media representatives. Developed on a 17.5-feddan site, Illume Residence will comprise mid-rise residential buildings of ground plus seven floors, complemented by landscaped areas, open spaces, and a full range of community services and amenities.

Mohamed Gomaa, Chairperson of Illume Societies, said the project represents the company’s entry into one of Cairo’s emerging residential districts. He emphasized that Illume Residence is designed as an integrated community, blending modern living with green spaces and service facilities. The development is scheduled for completion within three years.

Gomaa added that the EGP 4.5bn investment reflects Illume’s confidence in Egypt’s real estate market, particularly amid ongoing urban expansion and infrastructure growth in new cities. He noted that the Sixth Settlement has been attracting increasing investor and homebuyer interest due to its strategic location and development potential.

For design and engineering consultancy, Illume Societies has appointed A2G2 Engineering Consultants, led by engineer Ahmed Abdel Ghaffar. Looking ahead, the company plans to launch four to five additional projects in New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, and 6th of October City as part of its expansion strategy.

Illume Societies stated that its upcoming developments will focus on high-demand residential locations, with an emphasis on quality standards and long-term value for both residents and investors.
