Al-Sisi visits Police Academy, witnesses admission exams

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi paid an inspection visit to the Police Academy, in which he met with police students. The President also witnessed the admission exams of the Police Academy.

He was received by Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfik and a number of leaders of the Police Academy and the Ministry of Interior.

An open dialogue took place between the president and the students, where he stressed that the security work has undergone many regional changes recently, which affected many neighbouring countries. He also listened to the students’ points of view regarding various internal issues in Egypt, such as overpopulation, mega national projects, and sustainable development.

Al-Sisi stressed the need to continue developing the capabilities of the Police Academy to keep pace with the latest developments in security science, adding that police officers should be equipped with knowledge to perform their duty efficiently and preserve the nation’s security and stability.

The president praised the applicant students for their eagerness to join the police forces and participate in maintaining the security and stability of the country, expressing his best wishes for all of them.
