Pro and anti-President Mohamed Morsy protesters clash in front of the High Court while the Judges’ Club, led by former Prosecutor General Abdel Meguid Mahmud, convenes to reject the president’s decree.

Morsy has issued a statement on Thursday giving himself greater powers and neutralising the judicial system by declaring that the courts are barred from challenging his decisions.
