CAIRO: The average yield on 91-day Egyptian treasury bills declined at an auction on Sunday, but the yield on 273-day T-bills rose, the ministry of finance said on its website.

The bank sold LE 2 billion ($332.1 million) of 91-day T-bills, with the average yield falling to 13.95 percent from 14.057 percent at last week’s auction.

It also sold LE 2.311 billion of 273-day T-bills, short of the LE 3.5 billion it had offered, with the average yield rising to 15.209 percent from 15.084 percent at the last issue on Dec 6.
