CAIRO: Zamalek are keen to add another goalkeeper to their roster after signing Egypt number one Essam Al-Hadari, board member Ibrahim Youssef said.

Al-Hadari signed in to join his Egypt deputy Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed to give the Whites enormous strength in goal, but the 37-year-old is on a four-month ban.

Moreover, backup keepers Emad Al-Sayed and Mohamed Abdul-Monsef left for Gaish and Gouna respectively.

"We need an additional keeper because our youth don’t have the adequate experience," Youssef told FilGoal.com.

"The team also need a center-half to back Mahmoud Fathallah and Amr Al-Safti up. Moatassem Salem is not an option anymore after he turned us down recently."

Ismaili want-out defender Salem snubbed Zamalek as he expressed his desire to join Ahly, before eventually being forced to stay in Ismailia.
