Egypt’s Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMG) has signed a five-year strategic agreement with global technology firm SAP to upgrade its digital infrastructure using a smart cloud platform based on enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications and business artificial intelligence.
The agreement, which relies on the “RISE with SAP” offering, aims to transition the real estate developer into a data- and AI-driven enterprise by developing operational processes, increasing institutional flexibility, and supporting sustainable growth plans.
Ahmed Abdallah, Deputy Executive Vice President of Information Technology at TMG, and Augusta Spinelli, Regional President of SAP for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), signed the agreement to deploy a digital platform capable of keeping pace with the group’s expansion plans.
The deployment intends to elevate the quality of services and improve the quality of life for more than 1.5m residents living in cities and urban communities developed by TMG.
“The transition to RISE with SAP and SAP Business AI establishes a smarter and more flexible digital platform that supports decision-making, raises business efficiency, and keeps pace with the group’s targets during the coming phase,” Abdallah said. He noted that the transformation will accelerate data processing, enhance functional integration, and improve operational efficiency.
The agreement builds on a relationship spanning nearly two decades, which began when TMG adopted SAP solutions as its primary business management platform in 2006. Over the years, the group continuously updated its digital infrastructure, transitioning to cloud computing and launching one of the region’s first integrated digital platforms for real estate sales in 2020.
Through RISE with SAP, TMG will update its ERP system while utilising cloud operation services, continuous innovation, and the highest cybersecurity standards. The group plans to employ SAP Business AI and advanced analytics to provide a more flexible and reliable operating environment, enhance business continuity, and scale the digital system alongside future growth.
Artificial intelligence serves as a central pillar of the new agreement. TMG intends to use SAP Business AI to redesign and improve operational processes, automate repetitive tasks, and support decision-making across its various business sectors over the coming years.
Abdallah explained that the project’s impact will extend beyond corporate operations to include the development of services within its urban communities. The group will use AI to analyse operational data, issue real-time indicators, and provide smart recommendations to improve service quality for its residents.
“Technology has remained, over the past years, one of the essential pillars of Talaat Moustafa Group’s future vision,” Abdallah added. He stated that the agreement opens a new phase of growth, innovation, and operational excellence to maximise added value, enhance customer services, and achieve sustainable value for shareholders.
Certified IT Consultants (CIC), a long-term strategic partner of SAP that has participated in all stages of TMG’s digital transformation since 2006, will execute the implementation programme. CIC will continue its role in supporting the group’s transition towards relying more heavily on AI and smart analytics.
Spinelli stated that TMG continues to establish its position as a leading company adopting innovation in business development and elevating customer and resident experiences. She noted that SAP is proud to enhance its extended partnership with the group.
“Combining cloud ERP solutions, business data, and SAP Business AI technologies will enable the group to build a more flexible and smarter digital base,” Spinelli said, adding that the platform will support future growth, enhance innovation, raise operational efficiency, and enable the delivery of advanced services across TMG’s sectors and communities.
