AlWaheed Developments launches EGP 3bn ZAHA Residence in West Cairo

AlWaheed Developments has launched its latest residential project, ZAHA Residence, in 6th of October City, West Cairo, with total planned investments of approximately EGP 3bn.

Waheed Othman, Chairperson of AlWaheed Developments, said the company has developed residential, commercial, hospitality, and medical projects, noting that it has completed developments in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and the Eastern Province, in addition to projects in Egypt.

Othman added that the launch of ZAHA Residence is part of the company’s expansion plans in 6th of October City and Sheikh Zayed, where it intends to continue developing projects while focusing on construction quality and sustainable development.

He noted that the company has appointed ADC – Architecture and Design Consultants, led by Ahmed Sorour and Ahmed Maher, as the project’s architectural consultant.

Mohamed Waheed, CEO of AlWaheed Developments, stated that the company is targeting project delivery within three and a half years, supported by a phased execution plan. He added that the development will incorporate smart building technologies, including digital property management systems, mobile applications, and electric vehicle charging stations. The company is also finalizing an agreement with a landscape design firm.

Ahmed El Gohary, Chief Commercial Officer, said ZAHA Residence is being developed on an area of approximately eight feddans in Downtown October. He noted that unit sizes range from 60 to 175 sqm, while more than 75% of the project’s total area has been allocated to landscaped open spaces.

According to the company, the development will include residential buildings, retail and administrative spaces, a hotel component, medical clinics, a clubhouse, swimming pools, a gym, children’s play areas, walking and jogging tracks, underground parking, and smart community systems.

Ahmed Maher of ADC Engineering Consultants said the project’s residential buildings will consist of a ground floor and five upper floors, with approximately 80% of the units designed to overlook landscaped areas or main roads.
